Washington, DC - (October 31, 2000) - George Washington's men's water polo team travels to the Naval Academy in Annapolis , MD this weekend to compete in the Southern Championships.
Washington, DC - (October 31, 2000) - George Washington's men's water polo team travels to the Naval Academy in Annapolis , MD this weekend to compete in the Southern Championships.
The Colonials' first match on November 4, is against Navy at 10:15 AM. GW will then face Slippery Rock University at 3:15 PM. A ten-team tournament, GW's results on Saturday will determine the two teams they face on Sunday, November 5.
The Colonials must finish in the top four to qualify for the Eastern Championships that take place in Providence, RI on November 18-19.
