Volleyball's Mojska Named A-10 Player of the Week

WASHINGTON, DC (October 25) -- Senior Gabriela Mojska (Nitra, Slovak
Republik/San Bernadino Valley College) has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player
of the Week for volleyball, the conference office has announced.
Mojska hit .446 and averaged 5.67 kills per game and had 12 digs in leading GW to a pair of Atlantic 10 Conference victories last week.
A 5-11 senior, Mojska recorded 14 kills in GW's 3-0 (15-8, 15-2, 15-8) defeat of Fordham Friday at Smith Center. She added a match-high 20 kills as GW rolled, 15-5, 15-9, 15-5 over Duquesne Saturday.
Mojska's statistics for the week: two matches, six games, 34 kills, five errors in 65 attempts for a .446 hitting percentage, one service ace, 12 digs and eight blocks.
GW (12-7, 7-4 A-10) will travel to Philadelphia to play A-10 matches at La Salle Friday and at Temple on Saturday.
