Cameron Phan joined GW in May of 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and currently works with the Men's and Women's Swim and Dive programs. Phan arrived at GW after a stint at the University of South Carolina, where he was a graduate assistant trainer with the cheerleading teams. Phan is a graduate of Texas Christian University and South Carolina with a B.S. in Athletic Training and an M.S. in Advanced Athletic Training, respectively. He recently published his thesis on examining the impact of race and household income on mental health in pediatric patients diagnosed with a sport-related concussion. Phan is a licensed and board-certified athletic trainer with experience in long-term concussion management.
