Swimming & Diving Collects Four More in Top-Ten Results Friday at CSCAA NIC

Led again by its strong freshman class, GW swimming & diving completed Friday's competition at the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational Championship. GW's men's team remains in fifth place after two days, while GW's women's team ranks 26th.
GW's high finishes on Friday came from first-years Heitor Napolitano Fonseca Reis and Andres Brooks, who each claimed third-place results in individual events. Napolitano Fonseca Reis was the third to finish in the 200 freestyle (1:36.19) with a person-best time, while Brooks claimed third place in the 400 IM (3:49.62).
Also finishing with top-ten results Friday were Alessandro Borsato with an eighth-place swim in the 100 breaststroke (53.70), and GW's 200 medley relay also with an eighth-place result, swam by Shae Stratton, Borsato, Artur Tobler and Napolitano Fonseca Reis (1:27.44).
GW returns to the FAST facility in Ocala tomorrow for the final day of the CSCAA NIC, with prelims at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m., streaming on the YouTube channel FASTFlorida.
