Reno rejoins the GW women's soccer coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in August 2023.
Reno returns to Foggy Bottom after a stint with FC Cincinnati of the MLS during the summer of 2023. With FC Cincinnati, Reno's duties included working as a video analyst, coaching academy and second team goalkeepers and scouting youth talent in MLS Next. Prior to his time in Cincinnati, Reno served as an assistant coach with GW's women's soccer program for three seasons from 2021-23. Before arriving in the DMV, Reno served as an assistant with the University of Connecticut men's soccer program. At UConn, Reno worked with the Huskies' goalkeepers, and was involved in the program's talent scouting, game plan development, and day-to-day operations.
A former goalkeeper at Harding University and Texas A&M, Reno has a strong connection to his position. After graduating, Reno spent time working with various schools as a goalkeeping coach. He served as the Goalkeeper Director of Arlington Soccer Academy, and head coach at Texas Spirit Club Soccer. Additionally, Reno worked alongside former Houston Dynamo and US Women's National Team goalkeeper coach Paul Rogers to evaluate top goalkeeper talent for the Dynamo.
