Women’s Soccer Enters Final Week of 2025 Season

WASHINGTON - Following a 1-1 draw with Richmond on Sunday afternoon, the George Washington women's soccer team enters the final week of the 2025 regular season. The Buff & Blue head south to Davidson on Thursday for a match under the lights at 7:00 p.m., then welcome Fordham to The Vern on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Both matches will be carried live on ESPN+.

Davidson enters the final week of the regular season 7-5-3 overall and vying for one of the final postseason spots up for grabs with a 3-3-2 record in A-10 action. The Wildcats hold 11 conference points currently, one behind VCU, who currently holds the eighth and final spot in the A-10 Championship tournament bracket. Davidson most recently tallied a 3-0 win over La Salle last Sunday, while also claiming conference victories over Loyola Chicago and St. Bonaventure earlier this season as well.
