Women’s Soccer Enters Final Week of 2025 Season

WASHINGTON - Following a 1-1 draw with Richmond on Sunday afternoon, the George Washington women's soccer team enters the final week of the 2025 regular season. The Buff & Blue head south to Davidson on Thursday for a match under the lights at 7:00 p.m., then welcome Fordham to The Vern on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Both matches will be carried live on ESPN+.

Davidson enters the final week of the regular season 7-5-3 overall and vying for one of the final postseason spots up for grabs with a 3-3-2 record in A-10 action. The Wildcats hold 11 conference points currently, one behind VCU, who currently holds the eighth and final spot in the A-10 Championship tournament bracket. Davidson most recently tallied a 3-0 win over La Salle last Sunday, while also claiming conference victories over Loyola Chicago and St. Bonaventure earlier this season as well. Prior to traveling to The District this weekend, Fordham will host Saint Louis on Thursday in the Bronx. The Rams currently hold sixth position on the A-10 table, possessing a 9-5-2 overall record and a 4-3-1 conference mark. Fordham topped George Mason last Sunday, 1-0, using a goal in the 89th minute to snatch victory from the Patriots.
