Maddie Perrett joined the GW women's rowing program as an assistant coach in July 2022.
Perrett joins the Buff & Blue after spending the last two years as a volunteer coach at Ohio State, her alma mater. She helped guide the Buckeyes' Third Varsity 4 to a second-place finish at the 2022 Big Ten Championship, improving a spot from the boat's original seed.
Perrett competed for Ohio State from 2016-20 and won two Big Ten titles during her time in Columbus. She was a part of the Second Varsity 8 that finished in the top 10 at three straight NCAA Championships, including a fourth-place finish in 2017 and a fifth-place finish in 2019.
In addition to her collegiate experience, Perrett was a member of the USRowing U23 National Team in 2019 and won a bronze medal in the Women's 8 at the U23 World Rowing Championship.
Perrett earned a degree in Biology from Ohio State and was a Scholar Athlete all four years at OSU.
