Anderson comes to Foggy Bottom from Fisk University, where she was instrumental in building the first ever HBCU Gymnastics pilot program. At Fisk, Anderson was at the coaching helm of the uneven bars and vault rotations, composing routines and developing lineups. Additionally, she assisted in the floor exercise and worked as the recruiting coordinator. Because of her efforts, five individuals qualified for the 2023 USAG Collegiate Nationals and six student-athletes qualified in 2024. Additionally, three individuals earned USAG Collegiate National All-American status under her leadership during the 2023-24 school year.
Prior to her tenure at Fisk, Anderson served as an assistant coach at Ursinus College for four seasons. In her role, she was responsible for vault and floor exercise coaching. Her efforts led to six student-athletes receiving NCGA Division III National appearances in 2020 (two Vault, two Uneven Bars, two Balance Beam, one Floor Exercise) and one all-around appearance in 2022.
Outside of her time coaching at the collegiate level, Anderson brings a wealth of experience coaching at the club level to GW. She has spent nearly four seasons with Aerials Fit N Fun club, coaching levels 3-10, assisting with drills, conditioning and other assignments.
Prior to coaching, Anderson was a four-year member of the Temple Women’s Gymnastics team. In her time with the Cherry and White, Anderson competed in vault, uneven bars and floor. She captained the 2019 squad and helped the team to their first ECAC Championship, while being named the ECAC Specialist of the Year. Her performances on floor led her to qualify for the NCAA Athens Regional on floor as the first individual qualifier in school history.
