- What is it?
- Quarantine Olympics is a four-week long event that seeks to engage teams in friendly competition with much at stake.
- When is it?Â
- Quarantine Olympics will be a four-week competition, beginning Tuesday, October 20, and ending Tuesday, November 23. Winners will be announced a week later, on December 2.
- How does it work?
- Each week there will be three challenges worth points towards individual prizes and team prizes. There will be an easy challenge, an intermediate challenge and a hard challenge each week. One challenge a week will be live over WebEx.Â
- What is an easy challenge?
- An easy challenge is something that mostly all student-athletes will be able to participate in. They will require little effort and on that same accord will provide the lowest amount of points.
- What is an intermediate challenge?
- An intermediate challenge will require more effort from student-athletes and will provide more points than an easy challenge.
- What is a hard challenge?
- A hard challenge will require the most effort of all the challenges and will take place live over WebEx. They will award the most points.Â
- How will we know the tasks for each week?
- Each Sunday a video will go live on SAAC social media that will announce that week’s challenges. After the video is live, a schedule will also be posted to SAAC social media.
- How will we know who is winning?
- The leaderboard will be announced for both the team and individual competitions in the weekly videos.Â
