Tennis Opens Fall Schedule at Blue and Gold Invite

The George Washington tennis team is set to open the 2026 fall season competing in the Blue and Gold Invite hosted by Navy from Friday to Sunday.

GW returns eight student-athletes from last year's team that finished with 11 wins, the most since 2022. Included in the returning class are the Revolutionaries' top six performers in singles play and the team's top three doubles pairs from 2026 as well. The Buff & Blue also welcome first-years Laura Damm and Allison Snyder, who both aim to make an immediate impact this fall.

The invitational kicks off on Friday, with GW entering nine players into singles action. Solange Skeene and Madison Lee will both compete in the A-division, while Karen Verduzco, Alexandra Lindqvist and Damm will play in the B-division. Devika Manu and Vaida Matuseviciute will rep the Buff & Blue in the C-division, while Laziza Talipova and Allison Snyder take part in the D-division.

In doubles, the duos of Lee/Verduzco as well as Skeene/Damm will take part in the A-division, while Manu/Talipova, Matuseviciute/Lindqvist and Victoria Sasinka/Snyder will battle in the B-division.
