WASHINGTON – Standout sophomore Gabby Reynolds was named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Second Team, the league announced Tuesday morning. Reynolds returns to Foggy Bottom following a stellar first-year season that was capped off by a selection to the A-10 All-Rookie team last March.
Reynolds poured in 11.3 ppg during conference action last season, the third-most among first-years during the 2024-25 season. She was named the A-10's Rookie of the Week on Nov. 11 after pouring in 17 points and dishing out three assists in her first collegiate contest against Delaware.
Reynolds also finished her rookie campaign with 14 double-figure scoring games, 11 of which came during conference action. She finished the 2024-25 season averaging 10.2 ppg in total, grabbing 3.3 rpg and dishing out 1.7 apg.
As a part of the A-10's announcement on Tuesday morning, GW was selected 10th in the Preseason Poll, finishing with 75 points, 12 ahead of Fordham, who slotted in at 11th. The reigning A-10 champion Richmond was selected to repeat, receiving nine first-place votes, while George Mason was picked second with four first-place nods. Davidson received the final first-place vote, finishing third in the poll.
GW opens the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3, hosting the University of the District of Columbia at 5:00 p.m. inside the Charles E. Smith Center. The contest begins a new era of GW women's basketball under the guidance of Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan, who took over the program last April.
