Gymnastics Places 13 on WGCA Scholastic All-American List

13 GW gymnasts have been named to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American list, the organization announced.

To receive the individual honor, gymnasts must possess a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Among the honorees were recent graduates Rachel Katz, Kendall Whitman and Marlee York. The selection marks the fourth-consecutive season Katz and York have been honored, while Whitman was recognized for the first time in her career.

Of GW's returning honorees, rising seniors Kylie Kazmierski, Catherine O'Rourke and Deana Sheremeta were each honored for the third-straight season, while Nancy Kiner also joined the list of honorees. Rising juniors Delaney DeHaan, Brooke Izzo and Maya Peters were recognized for the second-straight year, and rising sophomores Zoe Safran, Hayley Suzuki and Natalie Thomas were all first-time honorees.
