Men’s Soccer Reveals 2025 Schedule

WASHINGTON - Head Coach Craig Jones and the GW men's soccer team unveiled their 2025 schedule on Friday. The 17-game regular season schedule features nine games at the GW Soccer Field and an eight-game A-10 slate.
The Revolutionaries kick off the season on Aug. 21 with a road matchup at Old Dominion, marking the third-straight year the teams will meet. Prior to the opener, GW will tune-up in a three-game preseason slate, starting at home against VMI (Aug. 13), followed by trips to American (Aug. 15) and Mary Washington (Aug. 17).
The Revolutionaries return to the Vern for their 2025 home opener on Aug. 24, hosting Binghamton at noon. From there, they dive into a run of familiar foes from the 2024 campaign, hitting the road to face Rider (Sept. 1) and Saint Peter's on (Sept. 5), then returning home to take on Navy (Sept. 10). Non-conference play wraps up with a trip to New Haven (Sept. 13) and a home matchup against Stetson (Sept. 17).
GW's home A-10 schedule is loaded with four of the top-six A-10 teams from last season. The Buff & Blue open conference play on Sept. 20 at home vs. Fordham, and later host George Mason (Oct. 4), Saint Louis (Oct. 8) and Dayton (Oct. 25). On the road, GW travels to St. Bonaventure (Sept. 27), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 11) and Duquesne (Oct. 18), before the regular-season finale at La Salle (Nov. 1).
The Buff & Blue bring a wealth of college soccer experience to the field in 2025, with 18 upperclassmen on the roster. GW returns key pieces for 2025, including its 2023 & 2024 starting goalkeeper Tom Macauley, and its 2024 leading goalscorer Louis Crofts. The Revolutionaries are bringing a total of nine student-athletes who played 800+ minutes at GW in 2024, including Crofts, Macauley, Jaden Dubon, Joe Liebe, Alex Nicholson, Colin Prendergast, Nico Medina, Mark Nakamura and Dan Dobrin.
The 2025 A-10 Championship will be held from Nov. 8-15, with each round being hosted by the match's higher-seeded team.
