WASHINGTON – Head Coach Gregg Ritchie and the George Washington baseball team announced the addition of Jack Kent to the program for the 2026 season. Kent joins the Revolutionaries as a graduate transfer after five years at Division III Muhlenberg.
During his tenure with the Mules, Kent appeared in 117 games, making 111 starts primarily in the outfield. He tallied 126 total hits, including 25 doubles, six triples and five homers. He also drove in 77 RBI and drew 61 walks, giving him a career .434 on-base percentage.
Coming off a breakout junior season in 2023, Kent's senior year was cut short due to injury. As a redshirt senior in 2025, Kent made up for lost time, setting multiple career-highs, including hits (52), doubles (14), home runs (four), slugging percentage (.541), on-base percentage (.479), runs scored (39) and stolen bases (17). Kent did all of this in just 39 games, helping lead the team to its most wins since the 2019 season.
Kent is the second transfer to join GW this summer, along with Luke LeMond, who played for four years at Holy Cross. Both players join a class of 11 incoming first-years who will arrive in Foggy Bottom this fall.
