
Gymnastics Places Eight on All-EAGL Teams

Upon completion of the 2025 regular season, GW Gymnastics has placed eight gymnasts on the All-EAGL First and Second teams.

Sophomore standout Delaney DeHaan led GW in accolades, picking up First Team All-Conference on vault (9.865), beam (9.815), floor (9.895) and in the all-around (39.260), while earning Second Team honors on the bars (9.790). DeHaan currently leads the league on the vault and all-around, while checking in at second on floor. DeHaan earned her first All-EAGL recognition last season, bringing her total to six.Â
GW also saw five additional gymnastics earn multiple All-EAGL recognitions. Kendall Whitman earned three honors from the league, drawing First Team recognition on beam (9.815)Â and floor (9.900) where she leads the conference, while earning Second Team recognition on the vault (9.790) to bring her total to 13 All-EAGL honors over her NCAA career.
Deana Sheremeta also earned three All-EAGL accolades, a pair of First Team honors on beam (9.865) and floor (9.860), while earning Second Team on bars (9.780) in just her first season competing on bars for GW. Currently, Sheremeta leads the conference on the beam heading to championship weekend.
First-year Lola Montevago picked up a pair of First Team accolades on both bars (9.880) and beam (9.840) in recognition for a spectacular rookie campaign, including setting a program record 9.975 on bars in February.
Senior Rachel Katz earned First Team recognition for the third time on the vault (9.805) and a Second Team recognition on bars for the second-consecutive season (9.775). Junior Kasey Burke collected All-EAGL awards for the second season, collecting Second Team accolades on both vault (9.795) and floor (9.800).
Sophomore beam specialist Maya Peters earned her second All-EAGL recognition on the event (9.805), earning a spot on the Second Team, while classmate Brooke Izzo earned the first All-EAGL honor of her career, earning a place on the Second Team for floor (9.795).
Fresh off the regular season's conclusion, GW turns its attention to championship weekend, heading to Philly to face all four EAGL opponents on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Liacouras Center.Â
