Indoor Track Readies for Philadelphia Metro Invite

WASHINGTON - With the Atlantic 10 indoor track championships on the horizon next week, the GW indoor track team will compete in its final tune-up meet this Friday, heading to the Philadelphia Metro Invite hosted by Penn in the Ott Center. The GW Revs will compete in 10 events over the course of the afternoon.
SUCCESS ON THE TRACK
GW has seen multiple school records shattered across the season thus far. As it stands, the Buff & Blue have shattered three indoor track records this season. Madison Hardamon holds the co-title in the 60m Dash (7.86), while Kamryn Holness holds the title in the 60m Hurdles (9.47) and the relay team of Olivia Clark, Hardamon, Dami Oyatayo and Rylan Priest own the record in the 4x400m relay (3:55.50). Sarah Mitchell also found her pace in the mile this season, winning the event at the Cardinal Classic before taking second at the Brant Tolsma invite with a time of 4:47.35 to break the previous meet record (4:48.42) by more than a second, just seconds shy of the GW record of 4:45.80.
