PHILADELPHIA - Headlined by Sarah Mitchell's event victory in the 3000m run and the 4x400 relay victory alongside four more shattered school records, the GW women's indoor track program had its final showing before the conference championships on Friday afternoon in Philly.

Mitchell's top finish in the 3000m marks her second event victory of the season, her first coming in the mile race at the Brant Tolsma Invite in January. The 9:42.16 finish recorded by Mitchell was only seconds behind the existing program record of 9:28.08.

Kamryn Holness was able to edge out her own record in the 60m hurdles by clocking in at 9.37, 10 seconds faster than her previous program record performance set at the beginning of the month. In the 60m dash, Madison Hardamon finished in 7.77 seconds to officially claim the program record in the event, after co-owning the title with alumna Rachel Horowitz in a time of 7.86. In the 500m, Rylan Priest edged out the previous program record by nearly a second with a new program-best 1:16.93.

In the relays, the 4x400 team of Olivia Clark, Rylan Priest, Madison Hardamon and Dami Oyatayo also crushed their own school record set at the last meet, besting their own time by over three seconds with a 3:52.17. The finish was also good for first-place in the relay event.
