Indoor Track Cruises to Championship Season

WASHINGTON- After a record-setting winter season, the GW indoor track program is prepped to compete at the A-10 Championships on Friday and Saturday in Virginia Beach, Va. Follow GWsports.com for the latest news and updates from this weekend's action.
LAST TIME OUT
The championship weekend comes on the heels of a solid showing at the Philadelphia Metro Invite that saw two event victories and four shattered program records for the Buff & Blue. Claiming the 3000m race, Sarah Mitchell tapped in at 9:42.16, just seconds shy of the existing program record, while in the 4x400 relay, the team of Olivia Clark, Rylan Priest, Madison Hardamon and Dami Oyatayo clocked in at 3:52.17, earning both first-place and shattering the existing school record they had set earlier in the season.Â
Other notable performances included new school records in the 60m hurdles by Kamryn Holness (9.37), the 60m dash from Madison Hardamon (7.77) and in the 500m by Rylan Priest (1:16.93). In total, the GW Revs have broken program records in four events this regular season, giving the team a strong foundation heading to championship weekend.Â

Slated to start racing at 1:15 on Friday afternoon, GW will compete in 10 events this weekend. The schedule for the Buff & Blue is as follows:Â
