BUILDING ON THE PAST
This week, the Revolutionaries will be looking to build on a history of excellence at the A-10 Championships. GW has dominated the waters at the conference meet in recent years, having swept the men's and women's championships in each of the last three seasons.
GW's men's team is going for its fifth-consecutive A-10 Championship - and eighth championship in the last nine seasons - while the Buff & Blue women are going for its fourth-straight A-10 title, which would be their fifth in the last six seasons.
RETURNING CHAMPIONS
The Buff & Blue are returning experience to the conference meet this season, with 10 individual A-10 Champions across both teams making their way back to Hampton.
On the women's side, GW is returning six former A-10 Champions: Moriah Freitas ('23 & '24 200-yard fly), Olivia Paquette ('24 1-meter & 3-meter), Ava Topolewski ('23 & '24 1,650-yard free; '23 500-yard free), Julia Knox ('23 200-yard IM), Marlee Rickert ('23 100-yard free) and Molly Smyers ('23 400-yard IM).
GW's men's team is returning four individual A-10 Champions, who have a combined 14 event wins at A-10s: Connor Rodgers ('23 & '24 200-yard fly; '23 & '24 400-yard IM; '24 200-yard IM; '22 500-yard free), Ganesh Sivaramakrishnan ('24 100-yard back), Karol Mlynarczyk ('21, '22 & '23 100-yard back; '21 & '23 200-yard back; '21 100-yard fly) and Philip Moldovanu ('22 1,650-yard free).
