Delaney DeHaan Tabbed as EAGL Gymnast of the Week

Wierton, W. Va.- Sophomore Delaney DeHaan has been tabbed as the EAGL Gymnast of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday morning.
DeHaan was the standout all-around performer for GW in its opening meet against Western Michigan, Illinois State and Pitt, earning co-champion honors in the all-around competition with a league-high score of 39.100. On each event, DeHaan compiled scores of 9.700 or higher, earning a 9.825 on vault, a 9.700 on bars, a 9.750 on beam and a 9.825 on floor. The meet also served as DeHaan's first time competing on vault and floor, in addition to the all-around portion of the competition. The 9.750 on beam also marks a new career-high for the sophomore gymnast.
DeHaan and the Revolutionaries will return to action this Friday in a dual meet at North Carolina, with the meet airing live at 7:00 p.m. on ACCNX.
