Gymnastics Reveals 2024 End-Of-Season Awards

WASHINGTON - GW gymnastics announced its annual end-of-season awards at its team banquet this past weekend with senior Kendall Whitman taking home the top honor.
Whitman was honored with the Lindsey Ferris Award, presented to the gymnast who best exemplifies the late gymnastics alumna's team spirit and leadership qualities. Whitman was also tabbed as the top performer on floor and in the all-around and also earned the team's Clutch Performer award.
First-year Maya Peters, fresh off an NCAA Regional qualification, earned the Outstanding Rookie Award and was the team's top performer on beam.
Senior captain Anneliese Silverman earned the Starter Award on bars and beam as well as the Most Consistent Award. Junior Marlee York won the team's Academic Award for the second straight year in addition to earning the Starter Award on vault and sharing the Most Improved Award with Kasey Burke.
Sarah Zois was tabbed the winner of the "Own It" Award and was the team's top performer on vault, resulting in an NCAA Regional qualification.
Brooke Izzo earned the inaugural "Rev" Heart Award and Payton Lynch was named Entertainer of the Year while earning the Starter Award on floor. Delaney DeHaan was also honored with the Coaches Award and was the team's top performer on bars.
