WASHINGTON - The GW Invite returns to the Potomac River for the first time since 2019 this weekend with two days of competition featuring collegiate women's programs, men's programs and high school programs.

The Buff & Blue's top boat outpaced Rhode Island and UMass at the Saint Joseph's Invitational, crossing in 7:33.37, six seconds ahead of URI and 15 seconds faster than UMass. The V8 returned in the afternoon with another victory, this time over Marist and UConn in 7:50.368.
GW's 2V8 and V4 also picked up heat wins in the afternoon over Marist and UConn.

Races for the collegiate women will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon and launch roughly every seven minutes thereafter. Saturday's action will commence at 8 a.m. with the afternoon wave beginning at 2 p.m. Every race will be in either a dual or tri-meet format.
