Tennis Visits Fordham for Weekend Matchup

WASHINGTON – GW tennis will look to get its first win of the season when it heads to Fordham for its second A-10 matchup on Saturday. First serve vs. the Rams is scheduled for 4 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
In its first A-10 conference match of the season, GW fell to VCU, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon in Richmond. Gabriela Giraldo earned the lone singles point for GW.
SCOUTING FORDHAM
The 2023 Atlantic 10 champions were selected to come in second in the 2024 preseason poll. Currently, the Rams sit at 3-4 overall. Fordham has dropped its last two matches, 7-0 and 6-1, with Anlin Xie leading the team with 11 singles wins. Julianne Nguyen and Xintong Zhou lead Fordham in doubles play with seven wins on the season.
