Weirton, W.Va - The GW Revs have been slotted for a second place finish in the EAGL preseason poll, the conference office announced Monday morning.
The Buff & Blue clock in behind reigning EAGL Champions Towson, who received 21 points (two first-place votes) in the poll. The Buff & Blue finished narrowly behind the Tigers with 20 points (one first-place vote); the rest of the EAGL teams finished as follows:
3. New Hampshire—15 points (one first-place vote)
4. Temple—12 points (one first-place vote)
5. LIU—7 points
Returning for the Revolutionaries are seven all-EAGL honorees, including graduate senior and co-captain Kendall Whitman, the reigning EAGL first-team selection on vault, beam, floor and all-around honoree. Fellow captains Rachel Katz and Marlee York also return alongside teammates Delaney DeHaan, Kasey Burke, Maya Peters and Deana Sheremeta for GW in 2025. Both Peters and Whitman were individual competitors in NCAA Regionals at the conclusion of last season.
Towson received a No. 34 ranking in the 2025 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) preseason poll. The Tigers received 250 points, while the Revolutionaries earned 59 points. New Hampshire (nine points), and Temple (five points) also received votes.
GW will open its 2025 campaign on January 11th at 7 p.m., facing host Western Michigan alongside Pitt and Illinois State in a quad meet held in Kalamazoo, Mich.
