Gymnastics Unveils its 2025 Regular Season Slate

WASHINGTON- GW Gymnastics, under the guidance of first-year Head Coach and alumna Stephanie Worrell, is pleased to announce its 2025 competitive slate. The campaign will feature 12 total meets, including four at the Charles E. Smith Center. The Revolutionaries will open on the road, facing Western Michigan, Pitt and Illinois State on Saturday, January 11 at 7 p.m. in the Podium Challenge.
Along with the opening away meet at Western Michigan, the GW Revs will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to face UNC (January 17, 7 p.m.), Baton Rouge, La., to participate in the Purple and Gold Challenge hosted by LSU (February 28, 7 p.m.) and to College Park, Md., to compete with Towson, Yale and Maryland (March 16, 12 p.m.).
GW will open the home slate with the Lindsey Ferris Invitational, welcoming Yale, Fisk and Penn to Foggy Bottom on January 26 at 1 p.m. On February 16, the Revolutionaries will host another quad meet featuring Cornell, UW-La Crosse and Ursinus at 1 p.m.
In March, the Buff & Blue will host two meets: the first (March 9, 1 p.m.) will feature Clemson and Penn State and the second (March 14, 6 p.m.) will see challengers Towson, Maryland and NC State at the Smith Center.
Within EAGL, GW will travel to Towson for the Towson Invitational, competing against Towson, New Hampshire and West Chester (January 31, 7 p.m.). GW will then travel to Philadelphia to compete against all four EAGL opponents in Temple, UNH, LIU and Towson (February 2, 2 p.m.). GW will also travel to New Hampshire in a dual meet (February 23, 1 p.m.).
The Buff & Blue will conclude their regular season EAGL competition with a road trip to Towson to face non-conference opponents West Virginia and Penn in addition to the Tigers on March 4 at 6 p.m.
Following the regular season, GW will compete in the EAGL Championship, hosted by Temple in Philadelphia. The meet is slated for March 22 at 5 p.m.
