Men’s Soccer Carries Momentum into Delaware Tuesday, Fordham Saturday

Revolutionaries travel for final non-conference game and pivotal A-10 matchup
WASHINGTON - On the heels of a four-point week at home, the George Washington University men's soccer team (3-8-2, 1-3-1 A-10) is traveling for two matchups this week. GW heads to Newark, Del., for its final non-conference matchup of the season vs. Delaware (6-4-2, 2-3-0 CAA) on Tuesday (7:00 p.m.), before heading up to New York for a primetime A-10 match on Saturday night (6:00 p.m.) vs. Fordham (5-3-4, 2-1-2 A-10). Tuesday's match will be streamed on FLOFC and Saturday's match will air on ESPN+.
FOUR POINT WEEK
The Revolutionaries earned their first four points in conference this week as they battled St. Bonaventure to a scoreless draw on Wednesday before downing Saint Joseph's, 2-0, on Saturday. Goalkeeper Tom Macauley shined in both matchups, keeping the A-10 foes off the scoreboard for all 180 minutes, while midfielder Will Turner scored both goals on Saturday to help boost GW to its first A-10 win.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Delaware comes into Tuesday's matchup at 6-4-2, which includes a 2-3 record in the CAA. The Blue Hens are 2-2-1 in their last five matches and are coming off a 3-1 home victory vs. UNCW on Saturday. Marius Stenner (8 goals, 5 assists) and Sam Donnellan (7 goals, 3 assists) lead the Blue Hens in points and are players to look out for on Tuesday night. Fordham's main man to look out for on offense is Daniel D'lppoltio (8 goals, 6 assists), who is first in the A-10 and sixth in the NCAA in points.
