Jared DeMott scores first career goal
NEWARK, Del. - The George Washington University men's soccer team (3-9-2, 1-3-1 A-10) fell in its final non-conference match of the season, 4-1, at Delaware on Tuesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
10TH MINUTE: Delaware opened the scoring early as Sam Donnellan scored into the bottom-right corner of the net. Mikey Johnson assisted on the play.
33RD MINUTE: GW defender Jared DeMott equalized on GW's first shot of the match, beating the Blue Hens' goalkeeper with his shot into the bottom-left corner of the goal. DeMott's goal came unassisted.
49TH MINUTE: Marius Stenner retook the lead for Delaware after converting just out of the halftime break. Jaydon Fuller and Orri Thorhallsson assisted on the play.
53RD MINUTE: Mikey Johnson extended the Blue Hens lead just minutes later on a goal assisted from Donnellan.
71ST MINUTE: Fuller tacked on a fourth goal midway through the second period.
