Kendall Whitman Named EAGL Gymnast of the Week

Senior earns the honor after winning vault and leading GW on the floor
Kendall Whitman of GW gymnastics has been selected as the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
Whitman posted a season-high 9.900 on vault at the Next Level Podium Challenge to place first overall. She tied for third on floor, logging a 9.900 which was the highest score for GW on the event. The Pennsylvania native has posted the top floor score for the Buff and Blue in all three meets GW has participated in.
GW gymnastics makes the trip to Towson, Md. on Friday, Jan. 26 to face off against EAGL opponents LIU, UNH and the host Tigers, alongside Cornell at 6 p.m.
