Sarah Zois Named EAGL Co-Gymnast of the Week

Junior earns the honor after new career-highs on beam and floor
Sarah Zois of GW gymnastics has been selected as the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) first Co-Gymnast of the Week of the season, alongside Syd Morris of LIU, the league announced on Wednesday.
Zois earned a new career-high floor score on Sunday at the Lindsey Ferris invitational, posting a 9.875 on the event and fourth overall. Zois also hit a career-high on beam at Florida this past Friday with a 9.900. The Crofton, MD native placed first overall on vault at home on Sunday with a 9.850.
GW will travel to Battle Creek, Mich. this week in a podium challenge against Western Michigan and Illinois State on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.
