Hissrich Tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW men's soccer first-year Ben Hissrich has been selected as the A-10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
A native of Fort Collins, Colo., Hissirch has caught fire to begin his collegiate career, scoring goals in all three of the Revolutionaries' matches this season. The award comes following a two-goal week for Hissrich, in which he registered a goal in a 2-2 tie at Manhattan before scoring the game-winning goal in the 79th minute in GW's 1-0 win over Iona. Through three matches, the first-year leads the Buff and Blue in goals (3) and points (6).
Hissrich will look to continue his scoring frenzy this afternoon as he and the Revolutionaries take on Stony Brook at 4:30 p.m. on the GW Soccer Field.
