Women’s Tennis Concludes Play at Bedford Cup

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – George Washington women's tennis continued its fall season at the Bedford Cup this weekend hosted by the University of Maryland at the JTCC.
First-years Solange Skeene and Rena Ishiguchi each got first place in their respective draws, and Gabriela Giraldo got second place in the tournament's Tiafoe draw, the highest-ranked draw pairing.
Victoria Sasinka and Madison Lee shared third and fourth place in singles in the Terps draw, while Charlotte Bell finished fifth in the Red draw and Stella Wiesemann also finished fifth in the Tiafoe draw.
Giraldo and Wiesemann won the Blue doubles draw in the final against teammates Lee and Sasinka.
