Graduate student recognized for aerial photography
WASHINGTON - Excelling in the water and the air.
GW swimming and diving graduate student Ryan Patterson was the feature of a recent ABC News segment, which detailed Patterson's work as an aviation photographer. Patterson, just 23 years old, has become one of the aviation industry's most sought after photographers, thanks in part to the unique aerial perspectives he captures in his photographs.
Patterson, a skilled freestyle and backstroke swimmer who scored 34 points en route to GW's 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship, has amassed over 237,000 followers on his Instagram account (@diecastryan) dedicated to his work.
Patterson is graduating from GW this spring and will be working with Delta Airlines this summer.
