Buff & Blue won its race at Mason Invitational
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW women's rowing's 2V8 was named the Atlantic 10 Boat of the Week, the conference announced on Saturday.
At Sunday's Mason Invitational, the 2V8 won the gold medal in the Grand Final with a time of 7:11.20, topping a field that included A-10 foes Duquesne and Saint Joseph's.
The honor is the first of the season for GW with the 2V8 comprising of coxswain Caroline Crutsinger-Perry, Mia Cremona, Kate Peterson, Anne Marie Avendt, Kendall Dorn, Eliza Price, Zoe Larkey, Elizabeth Rowland and Natalie Kreusch.
