Women's team places 15th in event
PHILADELPHIA - GW men's outdoor track broke its sixth school record of the spring on Friday afternoon, easily surpassing its previous best time in the Distance Medley Relay.
The team of Michael Bohlke, Jacob Heredia, Pat Castellano and Ryan Fowkes finished fourth in the event in a time of 9:44.48, besting the previous time by nearly 13 seconds. Fowkes ran the anchor 1600m leg in a time of 4:01.43 to improve the Colonials from ninth to fourth in the final leg.
The women's team of Sarah Mitchell, Kirsten Long, Lexi Seifert and Yukino Parle placed 15th with a time of 12:09.12.
