Giraldo and Ramirez pick up singles wins for GW
WASHINGTON – Gabriela Giraldo and Alejandra Ramirez earned a pair of singles wins for GW women's tennis on Sunday, but it wouldn't be enough as GW dropped its match to Georgetown, 5-2.
Giraldo beat Georgetown's Chloe Bendetti 7-5, 6-3, in the No. 2 flight, and Ramirez topped her opponent in straight sets at the fourth spot for GW.
