Barahona Named A-10 Golfer of the Week

First-year also earns Rookie of the Week honors
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW first-year golfer Rodrigo Barahona was named the A-10 Golfer and Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Friday.
Barahona becomes the third different Colonial to earn weekly honors in as many events this spring, joining Jakub Hrinda (Golfer) and Manuel Barbachano (Rookie).
Barahona led the Buff and Blue at this week's Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate with an even-par 213, finishing tied for fifth overall. The first-year posted a pair of 2-under 69 rounds to help land the Colonials a second-place team finish.Â
