Whitman Named Final EAGL Specialist of the Week

Junior crowned floor champion in final pair of regular season meets
In the final week leading up to conference championships, Kendall Whitman of GW gymnastics has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week for the second time this season.
Whitman scored a 9.925 and a 9.950 on floor in GW's final pair of regular season meets last weekend, topping the podium on the event in each meet. Whitman finished the regular season with eight-straight 9.900s or better on floor with a career-high matching 9.950 in GW's season finale at Maryland. Whitman was recently named to the All-EAGL First Team on floor after finishing third in the conference on the event with a 9.915 NQS.
In Friday's Senior Day meet, Whitman matched her career-high on beam with a 9.875 and also picked up All-EAGL Second Team honors on beam with her 9.820 NQS.
George Washington gymnastics looks ahead to Saturday's EAGL Championship at New Hampshire, with session one starting at 1 p.m. at the Whittemore Center.
