Benzinger, Distance Medley Relay set new marks
KINGSTON, R.I. - GW women's indoor track showcased its abilities at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a pair of school records and three top-five finishes.
The distance medley relay team of Sarah Mitchell, Marcella Mancini, Lexi Seifert and Yukino Parle placed third with a time of 11:46.17 to set the new school mark. Earlier in the day, Emma Benzinger did the same with a time of 8.19 in the 60m.
Mitchell and Seifert each earned team points for the Buff & Blue in the mile, finishing third and seventh, respectively. Parle placed fourth in the 3000m with the second-fastest time in program history.
GW earned 18 team points to finish in 12th place as a team.
