Women’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches have announced that the George Washington women's soccer team earned the Team Academic Award in celebration for their excellent performance in the classroom from 2022-23.
The award, which honors eligible NCAA, NAIA and junior college programs, is awarded to teams that have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Buff & Blue finished with a team GPA of 3.52 in the spring, well above the 3.0 threshold needed for the award.
The Revolutionaries wrap-up the 2023 regular season this week with a pair of A-10 matches. GW will face Davidson on Thursday for Senior Day at 3 p.m., then travels to St. Bonaventure on Sunday to battle the Bonnies at 1 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
