Women's Rowing Opens Fall at Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA - GW women's rowing began its fall campaign on Sunday with four boats hitting the water for the Navy Day Regatta. The event marked the first competition for first-year head coach Paul Allbright in the Buff & Blue.
GW's Varsity 8 came in fifth in the Women's Collegiate 8+, posting a time of 13:56.240. The 2V8 finished in a time of 14:26.320 to place 12th in the same event.
In the Women's Collegiate JV 8+, GW's 3V8 crossed the line in fourth with a time of 14:59.250, followed by the 4V8 in 10th at 16:16.180.
