GW rowing claimed second place out of the nine conference crews at Saturday morning's regatta on the Cooper River, narrowly placing behind A-10 powerhouse Rhode Island, which earned its fourth A-10 title in five years, and ahead of Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's, La Salle, Fordham, Duquesne, George Mason and Dayton.
Earning a silver medal in each of the three scored events, the Buff & Blue finished the day with 48 total points, just short of the conference title which was claimed by Rhode Island's 52 points. The V4 began the morning of scoring, earning eight points (08:02.171), finishing behind UMass who claimed gold (07:45.689) and ahead of the Rams (08:08.436), who earned third in the event.
