Women’s Indoor Track Begins Season at Cardinal Classic

GW runners begin competing on Saturday afternoon at Landover, Md.
WASHINGTON – George Washington women's indoor track & field begins its 2023 campaign on Saturday at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Catholic University at the Prince George's Sport & Learning Complex in Landover, Md. GW's first event will be the women's 60-meter prelims, which begin at 12:10 p.m.
The Colonials enter this year's indoor track campaign on the heels of a 2022 indoor season when six new school records were set. Kristen Long, who was a runner on last year's record setting 4x800 relay team, leads a slate of runners who will look to build upon last year's success.
In total, 17 GW runners will be competing across six events on Saturday. A complete list of events and start times can be found below:
