Sorkenn powered GW's offense on Sunday, scoring her fifth goal of the year in the 73rd minute against the Howard Bison. The blast helped George Washington secure a 2-1 win, and moved the team's season-long unbeaten streak to six straight games.
For Sorkenn, the strike was her 18th career goal in Buff & Blue. She is now tied for 11th all-time in goals with Jennifer Vogel, Kristin Davidson and Crissie Snow.
The River Edge, N.J., native will have the chance to move into the top 10 in program history in goals scored when GW faces George Mason at GW Soccer Field on Thursday at 3 p.m.
