14 Gymnasts Earn WCGA Academic Recognition

Banen and Zona cap GW careers with fourth-consecutive honor
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Fourteen gymnasts have been named to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American list, the organization has announced.
In order to receive the individual honor, gymnasts must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Among the honorees were recent graduates Simone Banen, Olivia Raymond, Katherine Shek and Olivia Zona.
Returning graduate student Deja Chambliss earned the honor for the second-straight season.
Nora Houseman and Hannah Munnelly were recognized for the third consecutive season, while Julia Peters and Anneliese Silverman were honored for the second time in their careers.
They were joined by first-time honorees Libby Garfoot, Rachel Katz, Payton Lynch, Madison Steskal and Marlee York.
