Track & Field Gears Up For A-10 Championship

Colonials look to build on record-breaking season at VCU
WASHINGTON - George Washington track and field heads to VCU this weekend for the A-10 Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
The Buff & Blue have established nine new GW records in the 2022 spring campaign. Last week, the women's track team crushed its previous record in the distance medley relay by more than nine seconds, finishing in a time of 11:45.73 at the Penn Relays.
Down in Richmond, GW will look to build upon its success at last year's A-10 Championship. In 2021, the women's team set a new program-high in points scored with 24, while the men's side finished with 10 points, the second-most in program history.
