Wiesemann and Marinkovikj pick up singles victories
WASHINGTON – The GW women's tennis team dropped its match to Davidson on Saturday, 4-3, at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
After winning the doubles point, GW went on to win its top two singles matches – with Stella Wiesemann and Katarina Marinkovikj claiming Ws – but four Davidson victories gave the Wildcats the one-point match victory.
Marinkovikj has now won three-straight singles matches and remained undefeated this weekend after recording GW's lone singles win on Friday. Wiesemann picked up her ninth singles win of the season on Saturday.
