GW wins doubles point and three singles matches to secure A-10 victory

WASHINGTON – In its first conference matchup of the season, GW women's tennis clinched a 4-1 victory over the visiting Richmond Spiders on Saturday.

GW earned the doubles point after a 6-0 victory from Stella Wiesemann and Charlotte Bell and a 6-3 triumph from Sarah Bodewes and Lindsay Thompson.

Wiesemann, Katarina Marinkovikj and Alexandra Vesikallio won the top three singles matches, lifting GW to 5-6 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
