Gymnastics Lands 15 on All-EAGL Scholastic Team

All four seniors earn honor for fourth time
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – Fifteen George Washington gymnasts have been named to the 2022 All-East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Scholastic Team, the league announced on Friday.
To be honored as an All-EAGL Scholastic Team honoree, a gymnast must have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or above throughout the 2021 calendar year. First-year gymnasts are eligible with 2021 fall semester grades only.
Graduate student Deja Chambliss and seniors Simone Banen, Olivia Raymond and Olivia Zona were honored for the fourth time, while Nora Houseman, Hannah Munnelly and Katherine Shek picked up their third honor. In addition, junior Libby Garfoot earned her first honor after transferring to GW this offseason.
Sophomores Payton Lynch, Julia Peters and Anneliese Silverman received their second honor. First-year gymnasts Rachel Katz, Gabby Lopez, Madison Steskal and Marlee York were honored for the first time.
