Women’s Tennis to Visit Navy on Saturday

WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's tennis team will head to Annapolis, Md., on Saturday for a 5 p.m. match against Navy.
GW dropped its most recent matchup vs. Maryland, 0-7. The Buff & Blue will look to clinch their first road win of the young spring season on Saturday, after opening their championship slate 1-1 at home on Jan. 28-29.
A LOOK AT THE MIDSHIPMEN: The Navy women's tennis team recently extended its season-opening win streak to six-straight matches with a doubleheader sweep of Georgetown and Saint Joseph's last weekend. The 6-0 start is the second-best start to a season in program history. The Midshipmen own a 33-3 record as a team in singles and a 17-1 mark in doubles play.
UP NEXT: GW will host Delaware State on Thursday, Feb. 11, for an 11 a.m. match, before making the trip to West Virginia for a pair of contests vs. the host Mountaineers and Toledo on Feb. 26-27.
