Cross Country Earns Trio of All-Conference Honors

Sarah Mitchell, Michael Bohlke and Jacob Heredia are all named to A-10 All-Rookie team
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – First-years Sarah Mitchell, Michael Bohlke and Jacob Heredia of the GW women's and men's cross country team were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team, the league announced on Friday.
Both Mitchell and Bohlke take home the honors after earning an All-Conference nod at this year's Atlantic 10 Championship. Mitchell, who was also named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Sept. 20th, placed 14th in the women's 5K and recorded a time of 17:40.9. Meanwhile, Bohlke placed 15th at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a personal-best time of 24:37.7 in the men's 5 mile.
Heredia takes home All-Rookie honors following a season that saw him set several individual high marks. Heredia's most notable achievement came during the men's 8k at the Indiana Coaching Tree Invitational, where he finished first among all first-year runners in a personal best time of 24:23.4.
